NB Student Supervision - Lane D, $10.84/hour. 1 hours/day, 5 days/week, 177 days/year. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply. There are no benefits with this position. Will provide for the safety and welfare of students during non-classroom activities; minimize the frequency or severity of harmful incidents, and communicate observations and/or incidents that may impact the general well being of students and school personnel. Job Requirements: Abilities required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: adapting to changing work priorities; communicating with diverse groups; and working as part of a team. Knowledge required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include age-appropriate activities; safety practices and procedures. Skills required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include operating equipment used in playground activities; and adhering to safety practices. The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 5% sitting, 50% walking, and 45% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
