Description
NB Secretary Technician – Summit Center. Lane 2 - $11.66 per hour. 5.75 hours per day, 5 days per week, 200 days per year. Must be at least 18 years of age or older to apply. There are no benefits with this position. Receptionist position for the Summit Center. Must have good computer skills, people person, organized, excellent phone skills, and a team player. Duties will include computer skills, using and creating spreadsheets, Word, email, and other software operations, scheduling, filing, and organizing. Scheduling times for preschool assessment and organizing special education files as needed. Other duties as assigned. Will assist clerical support to assigned school site personnel; communicate information to staff, the public and other districts; assist in providing complete and accurate records; and provide information and/or direction as may be requested. A type test is required. An appointment to take the type test must be set up in advance with Linda Mortensen. Please call her at 801-798-4030 ext. 100. The test will be given at Landmark, 612 S Main, Spanish Fork, UT. Job Requirements: Abilities required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: adapting to changing work priorities; communicating with diverse groups; maintaining confidentiality; working as part of a team; and working with detailed information/data. Knowledge required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: business telephone etiquette; communicating with diverse groups; meeting deadlines and schedules; and working with constant interruptions. Skills required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: operating standard office equipment including utilizing pertinent software applications; and preparing and assisting in maintaining accurate records. The usual and customary methods of performing the job functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 50% sitting, 30% walking and 20% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
