Description
Child Nutrition Worker. Lane D - $15.35 per hour. 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, 177 days per year. Jobs available in the Springville/Mapleton, Spanish Fork/Salem and Payson/Santaquin areas. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply. There are no benefits with this position. Placement on the salary schedule will be reviewed by the immediate supervisor during the interview process and finalized through the Human Resource and Payroll Departments. Will work under the supervision of a school kitchen manager, prepare food, serve, and clean up. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. CURRENT UTAH COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOOD HANDLERS PERMIT REQUIRED. Please submit on-line, mail-in OR bring current Utah County Health Department Food Handlers Permit into the Child Nutrition Department, Nebo School District, 350 S Main, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660, before application consideration and processing. Consideration will be given for Child Nutrition/Food Service experience, training or equivalent education, as well as SNA certification credentials (though not required). Ability-Based Competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: adapting to changing work priorities; meeting schedules; and working as part of a team. Knowledge-Based Competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: health standards and hazards; and safety practices and procedures. Skill-Based Competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: adhering to safety practices; and operating equipment used in a school cafeteria. The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 25% walking, and 75% standing. The job is performed under temperature extremes and under conditions with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
